This 119-page paperback tells the fictional, but true-to-life story of “John,” a missionary who comes to a ministry-changing conclusion: “Missions is not what the church does for the missionary but through the missionary.” The book includes a manual and four-part plan useful to missions committees, missions pastors, and those who direct missions education for the local church.
Tom Julien is a graduate of Bob Jones University (B.A.) and Grace Theological Seminary (M. Div., D.D.). Tom and his wife Doris served as missionaries in France for 28 years, and Julien was Executive Director of Grace Brethren International Missions until 2000.
