Pray for God's hands and feet to show His love to the tsunami survivors of the Pacific Rim.
The Pacific Rim, one of the International Mission Board’s newest regions, is diverse geographically and spiritually. Buddhists, Muslims, Shintoists, Hindus, Traditional Chinese Religions, Animists and other religions are found in this part of the world. Bringing the gospel to such a diverse region is a God-sized task.
Over a quarter of a million people died in Indonesia and over 7,000 in Thailand as a result of the tsunami. Recovering from such massive loss of life and property will take many years. Yet, the generosity of Southern Baptists is helping to rebuild communities and to give hope to the survivors of the wave.
