It is early in the morning, and I can hear the sounds of women sweeping the streets and the loud Arabic chants coming from the mosque, calling people to prayer. Soon the streets will be congested with vehicles of all sorts and masses of people. The street corners will be covered with venders and beggars. I've just arrived in this huge city of over three million, and although there are people all around me, I feel so alone. In this sea of humanity, I wonder, "Does anyone love me?" "Does anyone care about me?" "Where is God in this huge place?"
